CUET-UG 2024: Exam Date, Eligibility, Fee, Documents
The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2024 will be administered online by the National Testing Agency (NTA) from May 15 to May 31, 2024. On 27 February 2024, the NTA started the CUET UG 2024 Application Form. Students must visit the official website and submit the CUET 2024 application form. Before filling out the application form, candidates must fulfill the CUET 2024 eligibility criteria.
Choices for the number of subject choices has been reduced from 10 to six for smooth conduct of examination and evaluation. The exam will be held in hybrid mode. The exam will be held in pen and paper mode for subjects receiving more than 1.5 lakh registrations. Candidates can select from 13 languages for the first subsection and 20 languages for the second in the first section, "Languages" which has two subsections:
- Section IA – 13 Languages
- Section IB – 20 Languages
- Section II – 27 Domain-specific Subjects

About CUET UG
Common University Entrance Test also known as CUET, is a national-level entrance exam conducted for admission to all UG programs of all central universities. CUET provides a common platform and equal opportunities for all aspirants across India. NTA conducts this entrance exam for admission to UG courses offered by central, state, private, and deemed universities across India.
CUET UG is conducted across more than 300 cities in India in 13 mediums. The exam is conducted in hybrid mode. The duration of the CUET exam is dependent upon the subjects chosen by the candidate.

CUET UG 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates willing to appear for the CUET UG 2024 examination, must fill out the CUET application form. Before registration, candidates must ensure to fulfill the CUET eligibility criteria, failing which their candidature will stand canceled. As per the CUET eligibility criteria, there is no age limit to apply for CUET UG. Check below to know the CUET eligibility criteria:
- The students who cleared the class 12th/equivalent examination or are appearing in 2024 irrespective of their age can appear in the CUET 2024 exam.
- Candidates must have earned at least 50% in class 12th for General and 45% for SC/ST.
- Students have to fulfill the age criteria (if any) of the University(ies) to which they are taking admission.

To complete the CUET Application Form 2024, students who want to appear for the next CUET 2024 Examination will need the following documents:

CUET UG 2024 Result
CUET 2024 results will be released by NTA in the third week of July 2024 tentatively. Once released, students can follow the steps given below to check the CUET result 2024:

- Click on the 'CUET 2024 Result (UG)' tab.
- Enter the Application number and Date of Birth or Password and submit.
- The CUET UG 2024 scorecard will be displayed on the screen.
CUET UG 2024 Things to Keep in Mind
- Reach the CUET exam center around 1.30 to 2 hours before the exam begins. Don’t take chances.
- It must also be kept in mind that in most cases, test takers are not allowed to enter the exam venue 30 minutes before the exam commencement, as the gates are closed 30 minutes before to ensure the other formalities inside.
- Make a double check of the documents mandatory on the exam day. Carry them with you without fail. This includes your CUET admit card hard copy and an authorized photo ID.
- Have a sound sleep the night before to avoid any delays in getting up in time on the examination day.
- As there is a negative marking in CUET-UG total marks, be extra careful not to attempt any answer incorrectly.
- If possible, pay a visit to the examination center in advance, a few days or a day before the examination to have a complete idea of the place so that you can save time and stay hassle-free on the exam day.
- Try to carry as few belongings as possible, as most of the items won’t be allowed inside the exam center.
