Introduction

‌‌The Hindu College Parliament and cultural committee of Hindu College will be organizing ‘Mahotsava’ dedicated to the monumental milestone of 125 years of Hindu College.

Hindu College is one of India's oldest and most renowned colleges. The college was founded in 1899. The college has a parliament in which both students and teachers are part of it, and it functions as the Indian parliament.

The celebration involves a diverse lineup of events, cultural performances, panel discussions, art exhibitions, and opportunities to meet with alumni. It is not just a fest but rather the celebration of every student as a team.

Be ready to witness the amazing event which happens only once in a life. Be a part of the amazing event and indulge in the fun.

Under the directorship of Prof. Anju Srivastava we're excited to announce the beginning of the event.

The fest will be held on the premises of Hindu College.‌‌

The Hindu College is one of India’s oldest and most renowned colleges, affiliated with the University of Delhi located at Mall Road, Sudhir Bose Marg, Maurice Nagar, University Enclave, New Delhi.‌‌

The nearest metro station to Hindu College is Vishwavidyalaya Metro Station on the Yellow Line of the Delhi Metro. From there, E-rickshaw can be taken to reach the college.‌‌

Entry to Mahotsava

Entry: Fellow Hinduites (students of Hindu College) are allowed to attend the event but don't you guys forget to bring your college ID cards.

As for outsiders, no specific details are out. If you are really interested in being a part of these amazing events, we would suggest you go to Hindu College with your valid college ID card.

Cricket Match

Venue: College's Sports Ground‌‌

Commentator: Padamjeet Sehrawat

Make sure to witness this amazing event, a Cricket match between Principal's XI vs Alumni XI with renowned commentator and alumnus of Hindu college Padamjeet Sehrawat. This event also has  a performance by a police band.

Hindu College Parliament Prime Minister's Meet‌‌

Date: 21st January, 2024‌‌

Time: 2:30 P.M.‌‌

Venue: Sanganeria Auditorium

If I were you, I would not have missed this. An event with the gathering of various Prime Ministers and Leaders of the opposition of the Hindu college parliament sounds like wow!

Swaraah: Kathak Recital‌‌  

Performance by: Ms. Rachna Yadav‌‌

Oh! My gosh, don't tell me you will miss this. A Kathak performance by Ms. Rachna Yadav! It's a performance which you will remember for ages, for sure.‌

Peak Into Other Events At Hindu College

Mecca, the annual cultural fest of Hindu College was attended by over, 30000+ students. Mecca shows us the power-packed performances, mouthwatering foods, thrilling competitions. Performances featuring Sunidhi Chauhan and other thrilling performances left an exhilarating impression.‌

Musha’irah – The Annual Literature Festival of Hindu college witnesses Madhyam Saxena, Shambhu Shikhar,  Azhar Iqbal, Junior Qutbi Brothers, Nasera Sharma and other popular celebrities. The event turned out to be very successful.
