About ARSD

Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma ( ARSD College ), formerly Sanatan Dharma College, is a co-educational constituent college of University of Delhi. The College was founded on 3 August 1959, by the Sanatan Dharma Maha Sabha, Delhi. Shri Atma Ram Chadha, a philanthropist took over as chairman of the college governing body in 1967.The college is one of the premier colleges of Delhi University.

In recent times, it has emerged as one of the best colleges of India, as it has been ranked 6th best college as per NIRF Rankings.

Who Can Enter?

It's an Annual College Fest in which all the Delhi University Students are allowed. It will be a 3-day event where along with different performances of several societies, artists will perform...🎙🎶 and there will also be different food, games and other shopping stalls. Tide Fest provides a platform for students to explore their talents, exchange ideas and create lasting memories while fostering a sense of camaraderie and community spirit. The festival encourages creativity, teamwork, and contributing to their holistic development and personal growth.

How To Reach ARSD?

Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College itself will be the venue of the fest "Tide". The nearest metro station is Dhaula Kuan which at a distance of 6.7 km away which will take 12-13 minutes to reach via auto or e-rickshaw.

Ajay Hooda

Ajay Hooda, a name that resonates with the heartbeats of Haryana, brings to the stage not just his music, but the spirit of the land itself. Born on 6th October, 1983 a singer, songwriter, and music composer known primarily for his work in the Haryanvi music industry.🎵🎶🎶

Ajay harbored an artist soul yearning for expression. His heart resonated with the cadence of words and melodies and he found himself drawn towards the captivating world of songwriting.

With every note he plays and every word he sings, he celebrates the vibrant culture, traditions and stories of Haryana, weaving them into melodies that linger in our hearts.

Amit Mishra

Amit Mishra is an Indian singer, songwriter, voice actor and live performer. He gained widespread recognition and became more well known after the release of the song "Bulleya" sung by him from the film "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil"; for his rendition of the song he won a Filmfare Award for Best Male Playback and IIFA Award for Best Male Playback. He got nominated for the same song in different award shows. He has also sung in some Telugu, Bengali and Marathi films.

His other notable songs are "Manma Emotion Jaage" from the movie "Dilwale". "Galti Se Mistake" from "Jagga Jasoos", and "Radio" from "Tubelight". His distinct singing style and emotive delivery have earned him a dedicated fan base and critical acclaim.

Are you ready to showcase your talent and capture the vibrant spirit of ARSD college fest? PixElation - The Photography and Videography📷 society of ARSD College is excited for on spot reel making competition-Tide Tales.

⏱️ Time: 12:30 PM

📍Venue: ARSD Campus

Guidelines:

• Eligibility: Open to all DU and non-DU students.
• Team: 2 members per team. Solo participation is allowed too.
• Registration fee: ₹20/- per team.
• Theme: Participation is to curate a montage video that showcases the various events, performances, interactions, and emotions that defines the essence of Tide fest, creating a visual narrative that ebbs and flows like the tide itself.
• Duration: Reel duration should be between 1 to 2 minutes including credits.
• Originality: No AI generated for previous works. Plagiarism leads to disqualification.
• Submission: via the provided Google Form in groups: 108p, MP4/MKV, Hindi/ English, subtitles will be accepted. *Submission Deadline: 15 March, 2024, 11:59 am.
• Mise: Submit an entry with a title. Teams can shoot using mobile phones or cameras.
• Judging Criteria: Entries will be judged based on the relevant theme and composition.- Judges decisions will be final; no other appeals will be accepted.
• Exciting prizes..🏆 await the most captivating reels.

"The rages and tales interwine, and in the embrace of an Indian classical choir, the music becomes a spiritual journey that unites the earthly and the ethereal". Saarang: The Music Society of ARSD College is organizing Namah: The Indian Classical Choir Competition"🎵🎶

Guidelines-

Preliminary Round:

• Preliminary need to send a Google Drive or a Youtube link of their piece.
• The link must be accessible to everyone.
• Must ensure that vocals should be clear and no disturbance is there.
• Any form of karaoke/backing track is strictly prohibited. Electronic taanpura can be used.
• Time limit of the video should strictly be 5 minutes.
• Any kind of audio or video editing will not be entertained.
• Only one team per college is allowed.
• Last date of submission is 10th March, 2024.

Final Round:

• Maximum of 15 and minimum of 7 vocalists are allowed.
• Only 3 accompanists are allowed.
• The time limit of the final day performance must be 11 mins (including sound check).
• Participants need to strictly adhere to the time limit.
• The genre should be classical only, bollywood or folk songs are not allowed.
• Participants need to bring their college ID positively without their entry won't be accepted.
• The decisions of the judge will be final and binding.
• Last date to register is 11th March 2024.

Shivaay

Saarang: The Music Society of ARSD College is organizing the Battle of Bands competition, "Shivaay".

📍Venue: Main stage

Round 1: Online Preliminary Round

• Only 1 entry per college is allowed.
• The video should be a live performance.
• The maximum length of the video cannot exceed 8 minutes.
• Use of any kind of effects or editing is not allowed. The participants must submit the raw and unmixed version of the recording.
• The faces of the participants should be clearly visible in the video.
• The maximum number of participants allowed is 4 and the maximum is 10.
• Compositions of all genres are welcome.

Round 2: Offline Final Round

• Based on the results of the first round, selected bands will proceed to the final round for the offline performance.
• Each band will be given 15 minutes including a soundcheck.
• Each band must bring their instruments. A basic drum kit would be provided.
• All participating members must have a valid college ID card.
• No on-the-spot registration for this event.
• The decisions of the judges shall be final and binding in all cases.
• Last date to register is 11th of March 2024.

• The Genre should be semi classical/sufi/ghazals/Bhajans, bollywood songs are not allowed.
• The video should be a live performance.
• The maximum length of video cannot exceed 3 minutes.
• The faces of the participants should be clearly visible in the video.
• Other than a Tanpura or a guitar, no other instruments or Karaoke is allowed.
• Use of any kind of effects or editing is not allowed. The participants must submit the raw and unmixed version of their recording.

Round 2: Offline Final Round.

• Based on the results of the first round, selected participants will proceed to the final round for the offline performance.
• Each participant will be given 5 minutes including the soundcheck.
• Upto 2 accompanists are allowed.
