Syllabus

The entrance test for this program is a common test for all languages. Candidates seeking admission to B.A. (Hons.) in JNU have to appear for CUET (UG) 2024.

They are required to opt for Section IA—English Test and Section III—General Test for admission in JNU. Candidates who will not appear in both sections, i.e. Section IA (English Test) and Section III (General Test), will not be considered for admission in JNU.

Apart from language courses, JNU also offers B.Sc. in Ayurveda biology.

Ayurveda: Ancient Wisdom, Modern  Study

B.Sc. program in Ayurveda Biology

To gain admission into the B.Sc. program in Ayurveda Biology at the School of Sanskrit and Indic Studies (SSIS) at JNU, candidates must take the CUET (UG) 2024 exam. The admission process involves several sections: In Section IB, candidates are required to take the Sanskrit Test.

Section II includes four domain-specific subjects—Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics—with Physics and Chemistry being compulsory. Candidates must choose either Biology or Mathematics as their third subject, and if both are selected, the higher score will be considered for merit. Additionally, candidates must take the General Test in Section III.

Failure to appear in all three sections—Sanskrit (Section IB), the domain-specific subjects (Section II), and the General Test (Section III)—will disqualify candidates from admission to JNU's Ayurveda Biology program.

School Of Engineering

Four-year B.Tech program

a) B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering;
b) B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering

Mode of Admission

1. Based on JEE (Main) through JOSAA counselling.
2. Based on JEE (Main) through DASA counselling for foreign nationals.

Degree Requirements:

B.Tech. program The minimum credit requirement for this four-year degree program is 160 credits. The duration of the program is 8 semesters. The students can do additional credits through open choice of courses, which will allow them to develop broad inter-disciplinary knowledge base.
