Amity University was established under the aegis of Ritnand Balved Education Foundation, a Non-Profit education trust, over 19 years ago. It is the No.1 Private University, where 95,000 students are pursuing over 240 programs. It has a dedicated team of 4000 scientists, researchers and faculty members who operate in a merit-based professional environment led by 11 former Vice Chancellors, Former Chairman of UGC and Vice Chairman of AICTE.
The university is recognized by University Grants Commission and accredited by the NAAC with grade 'A+'. It has campuses in India and overseas branch campuses in London, Dubai, Singapore and New York.

To help students in personal grooming, special sessions are held on business etiquettes, negotiation skills and effective communication. Special classes are held on leadership, teamwork and analytical skills.
All students undergo a 7-day Military Training Camp held at Amity's 150 acre campus in Manesar, which is next to the National Security Guards (NSG) Training Camp. Students are trained by veterans of the armed forces.
At the Military Training Camps, Amity students imbibe the value of discipline and a spirit of patriotism, commitment and perseverance by participating in a variety of activities like parasailing, trekking, shooting, rock climbing/rappelling, etc. which test their mental and physical agility.

Creativity Club
Creativity Club organises events to tell everybody what creativity is and let them experience it. The objective of this club is to let everyone use Creativity in their own ways by setting their minds free because creativity can never be used up, the more you use, the more you have.
Many fun competitions and events are also organised regularly. Competitions like poster making and brand logo making competition are some of the most famous in this club.
NEXUS
The HR club provides a platform for budding managers to try out new things and apply theoretical knowledge to reality.
The Club acts as a vertebrae in providing personal and professional development through organizing and extensive participation in the year-round activities including guest lectures, panel discussions, role plays, debates workshops, quiz contests, debates, case studies, mock interview sessions, management games and lot more. Some of the most exciting events are Triathlon, Vishleshan, War of Words, etc.

Step it up - The Dance Competition
The competition aims to instill a great love of dance, while inspiring self-confidence, discipline and respect of the performing arts. Amity University believes that every student has something to offer the arts and the arts has something to every student. Also, the fasion events are organized with commitment to the development of the fashion, art and design community among the students.
A Dance Mob - No one saw it coming
The Choreo Club organized the Dance Mob with the sole purpose of opening minds around. The Dance Mob connects with varied audiences across domains and is meant and driven by the youth target audience.
Fashion Walk
The fashion walk is organized with an extraordinary importance to bring together the aspiring models, budding costume designers, fashion agencies, and sponsors together to develop an affinity and professional partnerships.
Marketing Club
The Club provides platform to students an opportunity to blend marketing theories with real time application.
The Club organizes events such as Quizzes, Guest Lectures, Panel Discussion, Debates, Games & Exercises and National Seminar throughout the year to help students gain insights into the latest happenings in the field of Marketing. Some enthralling events one can look forward for are- Ad Mad, Sales Pitch, Ultimate Marketer, etc.
Central Library
Spread over 56,000 sq.ft the libraries at Amity are more like Integrated Knowledge Resource Centres that are stocked with over 2 lac books in total; periodicals, references, national and international journals, covering all aspects of academic studies and research materials.
Amity Library has over 17,000 online journals. Some of the online resources Amity students have access to are EbscoHost, UGC-Infonet, INDEST-AICTE, IS1 and Delnet. All Amity students are members of Amizone-Amity Intranet Zone which allows them easy access to these journals & papers.
Syndicate Rooms
300 students can brainstorm at the same time in 50 Syndicate Rooms. Ability to work as a team is a critical skill in the corporate work-place which Amity students learn to master in Syndicate Rooms. The Syndicate Rooms provide the perfect setting to acquire team skills through exercises like brain-storming sessions, group discussions, role-plays etc.
E-learning Studio
E-Learning Studios are the focal point for conducting Amity University's various online courses through distance learning. Live Virtual Classes are held wherein faculty members conduct tutorials using various teaching aids including PPTs, graphics, etc. Amity also offers tele-education in all 53 Pan-African nations through a Govt. of India Project.
